I rode my bike today through all the trails and visited all the buildings while I was also Geocaching! Http://www.geocahing.com and this brought back so many great memories from my childhood. Nice to see it again.

My Dad used to talk about working at Benson's when he was a teenager. He was from New York, but would go there for the summers. That is all I know. He was born in 1919, so I'm assuming this was around the mid-1930's to perhaps the early 1940s. Are there any work-related documents or stories... (more)

Bob, you could probably check the archives at the Nashua library for old articles.Steve.....
13 turtles out there yesterday !
thought they'd be back under the mud with temps back to normal !
Our family went to Bensons Animal Farm in the late thirties and I had a ride on Betsy. There were two benches on her sides held by leather straps and she knelt to let children to get on and off after she gave them a ride.I was thrilled and never forgot that I rode on an elephant.
I am looking for any news articales from the early 1960's
about bensons animal park. I dont remember if they had there own paper or there was a Hudson news paper.
Thank you for any help

Steve,
I'm expecting turtles on the logs any day now, with this crazy early warm weather !
The dog sled fundraiser for the friends of the Hudson dog park was great and raised some much needed funds to help open the dog park
