Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! I went there today with my newphew and dog and it brought back so many memories. The park looks amazing and beautiful! I cannot wait to go back again.

There will be a pancake breakfast this coming Sunday, Oct. 24th, at St. Kathryn's church in Hudson, to benefit the construction of a trail bridge at Benson Park. Do any of the Bensons employess remember the foot juggling and roller skating act? I'm looking for the name of the foot juggler. Her first name was diana...
I remember visiting Benson's farm in the early 60s a few times as a kid. My sister and I loved it. There are pictures of us on a big slide, and walking through a big Clown's mouth which was part of a building. The memories are vague, but I know we were happy! I am visiting New England next... The ape was most likely Junior the chimp.
Poor thing, considering his living conditions and the was he was taunted I would have spit at people too.
That monkey house was pretty bad.
Imagine living in one of the teeny cages your whole life ?

I remember Bensons like it was yesterday, but it was in the 50's. Does anyone remember the huge ape that would spit at people?
